Home / Charging network
Solar generation, battery storage and a grid connection used only as backup. That is what makes a charger that is open when you arrive, on every site we run in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The site generates its own power during the day and stores enough to run a full evening of charging without drawing from the grid. When the DisCo supply drops, which on these corridors it does, the battery carries the load and nobody at the forecourt notices.
Everything on site is monitored remotely, port by port. If a unit stops answering, it is flagged on the map as faulted rather than left showing as available, and a local crew is dispatched.
Every EasyCharge unit has two cables, so two cars charge at once and you are not waiting on the driver in front of you finishing.

Home / Pricing and payment
You pay for the energy you take and nothing else. The price is on the map before you set off and on the screen before you plug in.
The rate is the same at every EasyCharge rapid site, in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Top up a naira wallet in the app, or tap a card at the charger. Either way the session ends when you unplug, the wallet is charged for the exact energy delivered, and the receipt lands in your account.
Partner sites set their own rate. Whatever it is, you will see it on the map and on the charge screen before the session starts.
About 24 kWh, roughly ₦12,000, around 25 minutes at 120 kW.
About 45 kWh, roughly ₦22,500, around 35 minutes at 120 kW.
About 40 kWh, roughly ₦20,000, around 40 minutes at 120 kW.
Times are indicative. Charging slows as the battery fills, and every vehicle has its own limit.
Every session produces a record with the site, the date, the energy delivered and the amount charged.
Receipts appear in the app immediately after a session and stay there. Download any month as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Fleet accounts get one consolidated monthly invoice, with a line for every session, broken down by driver and vehicle.
Tell us the session and we will check the meter reading on the port. Overcharges are refunded to the wallet within two working days.
Support is open around the clock, every day, and a person answers.

We list our own sites and everyone else's. A port shows as available only once it has answered a live check, so the map tells you what you will find when you arrive.

The port answered a check in the last 30 seconds and has no session running. Drive to it.
A car is plugged in. The session will usually finish within the hour at a rapid port.
The port is not answering. It may have no power or no connection. We do not know that it works, so we do not say that it does.
The port reported an error, or failed a check repeatedly. On our own sites a crew is already on the way.
The same feed behind this map is available as an API for maps, carmakers and fleet software.
Home / Drivers
Charging an electric car is simpler than filling a tank, once you know what the connectors mean and how long a stop really takes.
Look for a port marked available, and check the connector matches your car. Availability changes, so glance again as you get close.
Charging ports sit in different places on different cars. Pull in so your port is on the same side as the unit, and leave the bay clear for the car beside you.
Tap your card on the reader, or start it from the app. Enrolled cars using plug and charge start on their own as soon as the cable is in.
Push the connector all the way home until it clicks and locks. The screen shows the power flowing within a few seconds.
End the session on the screen or in the app, and the cable unlocks. Your receipt appears in your account straight away.
Put in your battery size and how full it is. We will estimate the energy, the price and roughly how long you will be standing there.
An estimate, not a quote. Charging slows once a battery passes about 80%, and cold or very hot batteries accept power more slowly. Your car may also cap the speed below the charger's rating.
Nigeria sees cars from Europe, China and the used import market, so there are three plugs in common use.
The rapid standard on most European and many Chinese cars. Two large DC pins below the normal socket.
The Chinese DC standard, found on a good share of imported vehicles. Our units carry both CCS2 and GB-T cables.
The slower AC socket used at hotels, offices and homes. You bring your own cable for these.
No. Every EasyCharge unit takes a contactless card. The app is worth having because it holds your receipts, shows live availability and lets you top up a wallet at a lower effective cost.
At our own sites, nothing. The battery takes over and the session continues. At partner sites the session stops safely, the cable unlocks, and you are only billed for the energy that was delivered.
Report it from the app or email support. We re-test the port immediately and mark it faulted if it fails, so the next driver is not sent to it. That feedback loop is a large part of why our data is better than a static list.
Every battery tapers as it fills, to protect its life. Going from 20% to 80% is usually quick; the last 20% can take as long again. For a journey stop, 80% is normally the sensible place to unplug.
Not today. If bays become congested we will introduce an idle fee at busy sites, publish it clearly, and warn you in the app before it starts running.
Yes, if it has the right socket. Most hybrids charge on AC only, so a destination unit suits them better than a rapid bay.
Receipts sit in your account after every session and can be downloaded by month. Business accounts get one consolidated invoice instead.

We fund, install, operate and maintain the equipment. You provide the space and the grid connection point, and take a share of every kilowatt-hour sold.
We host sites in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, and most work the same way. We survey the site, agree a bay layout and a revenue share, handle the DisCo interconnection and the civils, and install the units. From the day they energise, they are ours to run and yours to earn from.
Where the supply is weak, which is common, we size solar and battery storage to the site rather than walking away from it. That is the part most operators cannot do.
Dwell time of an hour or more, and charging brings drivers who then spend inside.

Electric vans and ride-hailing cars only save money if charging is predictable. We give fleet managers the control and the numbers to make that true.
Issue a card or an app login per driver. Sessions are authorised against the fleet account, so nobody is paying out of pocket and claiming it back.
Energy, cost and duration by driver, by vehicle and by site. Spot the van that charges twice as often as the rest of the fleet.
Established logistics operators can charge now and settle monthly, instead of pre-funding a wallet before every shift.
We install and run chargers at your yard, with solar and storage where the supply is unreliable, on the same account as public charging.

Home / Charging data and API
We collect every public charger feed in Nigeria, put them in one shape, and test them before they reach a driver's screen. That checked feed is available to license.
Operators report status in incompatible formats, and some report online for ports that have been dead for months. Three stages fix that.
Partner networks over OCPI 2.2 or their own APIs, our hubs over first-party telemetry, and private sites at hotels, malls and depots.
Every source arrives in a different schema. We map them all onto one record per port, refreshed on a 30-second cycle.
Any port claiming to be online is re-tested before it is published. Stale and unreachable ports are marked, never quietly dropped.
Enrichment is the product. A carmaker shipping vehicles into Nigeria needs to know that the connector fits, the tariff is current, and the port answered a few minutes ago.

EasyCharge Technologies is a Nigerian charging company, operating in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. We operate our own solar-backed sites, run the accounts and payments behind them, and publish live status for every public charger in Nigeria.
Most people who give up on an electric car in Nigeria do not give up because charging is expensive. They give up because they drove to a charger and it was dead, and nothing on their phone had warned them.
So we built the map before the hub. It covers other operators' chargers as well as our own, because a driver does not care whose logo is on the unit. They care whether it works.
The charging sites came next, designed for the power situation that exists rather than the one the design manual assumes: solar canopy, battery storage, and a grid connection treated as a backup.

Tell us the site name and, if you can, the port number printed on the unit. We re-test it straight away and update the map so nobody else drives to it.
Two things solve most support requests faster than we can.
Unplug fully, wait ten seconds and reseat the connector until it clicks. If the screen still shows an error, try the second cable on the same unit first, as the fault is usually on one arm only.
Open the receipt in your account and check the energy delivered against the amount. If they do not match the published rate, send us the session reference and we will check the meter on the port. Overcharges are refunded within two working days.
